okay this picture is super blurry, but I only took one, so it'll have to do. I can't believe that I actually took a picture of me pregnant and posted it, but I thought I'd fill in everyone on what's happening. I'm officially on bed rest at my mother's house, and it stinks. I thought for sure I'd have a normal pregnancy this time around, but turns out I'm not that lucky. I went in to see my doctor and he said I was dilated to a 2 and I was 50% thinned out. Sorry for the detailed terms, but I was only 32 1/2 weeks along then. This Saturday I'll have 6 weeks left, which the more time my little girl can spend in my tummy the better. Apparently you're not supposed to paint your garage when you're 7 months pregnant. What can I say I have to be doing something all the time! So..... being on bed rest, the hardest thing for me, but I'm taking it serious and I'll try my very hardest to keep her inside for 3-4 more weeks. Wish me luck...and healthy babies......

First of all you look adorable even through all the blur and second of all you take care of you and that little one. Our Caden was almost 8 weeks early and eventhough everything turned out okay the NICU was no fun. You just rest and don't do any more painting for heaven sake.
Yikes! I hope she stays in there. Your belly looks huge next to those tiny little legs! Good LUCK :) ...and stay rested!
Rachel you look awesome! Seriously I need your secrets! Tiny little legs and arms! So sorry to hear that you are having a hard time with your pregnancy, I can't imagine the anxiety. Go out and buy...wait, no...have your mom go out and by like a complete season of some show and just vegg out in front of the tv for the next little bit! I recommend Beverly Hills 90210. Love it, Take care, Michelle
O my time is going by so fast. Thats to bad about the bed rest but you look great! I can't wait to see her. Good luck with everything

Hey Rachel how are you? You look so good. How scary and sucky to be on bed rest, but isn't true we would do anything for our children. My first little boy was born a month early and thank goodness all was well. He was a healthy 7 pounder. Good luck to you.
You are looking great...like everyone has said! Yeah, I had Connor 3 weeks early...nothing like 6, lets pray your little girl holds out a little longer!! I had preclampsia, where my placenta wasn't getting nutrients to the baby. He came out 4lbs. 13ozs, but his lungs where perfectly fine...so if you can hold out just a few more weeks! He was in the NICU for a week because he had trouble feeding, but he wasn't hooked up to oxygen or IVs which was amazing! It is so hard to leave your little baby at the hospital when you get to go home! Did you have your little boy early as well? Take bed rest serious and hopefully your little girl will hold out a little longer!
Hey wow! I just found your blog a day or two ago. I love all the pictures--the one with the boys in front of the pumpkins is my favorite.
Sorry about the bed rest--I would be going crazy, too. It's nice, though, that you get to stay with your mom and have all her help.
Good luck these next few weeks. Can't wait to see pictures of another beautiful Tarbet baby.
Hang in there Rach! At least you only have one little boy running around while your on bed rest! I was on bed rest with Kenadee and had 3 little boys running around! Curt took lots of time off work to help me out running kids back and forth to school and grocery shopping@! It totally drove me crazy! But then my little girl didn't want to come out! At least yours is anxious! Hold on a little longer, 35 weeks is early but safer than 33! Jeffrey was born at 35 weeks, was 6lbs 8oz. Healthy baby boy! So we'll pray that baby Emerson is a beautiful healthy baby girl!
I'm sorry to hear about the bed rest, I'm sure it's no fun but it's for a really good reason, so hang in there! Also, you look way better than I did towards the end, I don't know what you were thinking!! hehe...but thanks for your last comment! Sounds like you keep yourself busy when Matt is at work and that's good to know. It would be hard for me to be all alone for that long since Bryan has been working from home for the past two years...he goes on some long trips sometimes, but it's nothing frequent like it would be his work schedule. It would be way fun to hang out with you guys though, I know he really misses his friends and we would have our little girls to be good friends! Let's see how things go!
Good luck with everything!
Hey that's not fun or good at all. You behave and stay in bed. Hey maybe I'll come see ya if you're at your moms.
Hey, I just found your blog. It's been forever since we've seen you guys. Hopefully everything goes as good as possible with your pregnancy. You look so good.
You are so stinking cute. Hey, my friend had her baby about five weeks early. He was on oxygen for about a month, but other than that nothing serious. It's hard not knowing and not being in control, but just have faith. Good luck.
Hey Rachel, that really stinks that you are already going into labor. I work in the NICU, so I get to take care of tiny babies every week. All I can say is to keep your legs and fingers crossed! Has your Dr given you celestone? It's a steroid that can make your baby's lungs mature faster and it really does help. I'm adding you to my list if that's alright?! Good luck with everything!
